Okay. On the last day, I dressed up in Decora fashion.

The reason why otakus are poor:

Highlight of my time that day, The Zombie Run. Basically, otakus (mostly consisting of cosplayers) act like hungry zombies that are all after one poor soul. A guy that's dressed up as Snake from Metal Gear Solid. It was an event that just happened automatically and was a little more organized this year. It's an awesome feeling to act like a mob of zombies.

Kawaii Kon '08

I'm unsure how I felt about this year's anime convention. There were good moments and awkward moments where I felt no love from the con. Last year was all about love. It could've been that I didn't buy a booth this year but whatever the reason may be, I hope that next year will be better.

I didn't take much pictures on Friday because I went there late after work. Since my camera phone doesn't have a flash, I refrained from blacked out pictures.

On Saturday, I dressed up as Meg from Burst Angel. I sewed the whole thing from scratch. No patterns, just me and some fabric and a sewing machine :). I'm so proud.

Side view:

Other people dressed up as well. Here's these girls from the video game Final Fantasy X2:

Here's a family dressed up from the series Naruto:

My friends dressed up from the series Bleach (very cute!):

The coolest cosplay I saw that day was Bumblebee from Transformers. He had light up leds in his helmet and was on stilts to add to the awesomeness of his costume. It inspired me to dress up as (hopefully) Samus for next year's con. Next to him is a ghetto Soundwave. lol.

Here's Cyclops from X-Men, Bumblebee and a Cowboy Stormtrooper:

There was a gaming room where the gamers went in and rarely went out. Let's just say they could've used some deodorant a little more frequently in the gaming room.

The night ended with an awesome concert by a J-Rock band called The Emeralds. The dance floor rocked so hard that it literally started rocking from people jumping up and down. It felt like I was on a trampoline and was in a constant battle with myself whether it was worth my safety to rock it out.
I ended up imagining that we'd all fall through the floor, onto the parking lot below, resulting in a pile of bodies dressed up in weird attire with a japanese rock band with broken boards of wood. I guess the risk of dying so dramatically made it even better. >:)

Some poo:

LOL! No it wasn't poo. But actually the chili machine for nachos. Still, that's pretty damn nasty. I'm happy I don't eat it :).
