For my good friend's baby shower, I decided to make a nursing cover to wear when nursing in public.
I used a black cotton with a cherry design and white polka dots. Something that is very in tune with what my friend loves :).
Here it is sprawled open on my bed.
It features a giant sweater-like pocket.
And a place to slide in wires so that you can peek in at your baby with ease.
Here's the wires and the wire package I made for it.
Here's also the note card I made that was included on the nursing cover.
I also made a card.
This is the inside.
And the back!
Here's a closeup of the image I had drawn. Cute <3

Cute Bunny & Puppy Purses
I'm almost done sewing 2 more purses that I'll later sell at my shop. It's a loveable puppy purse and a sad blue bunny. I had fun sewing them :D. All that's left is their straps so that they can be worn! I'm hoping I'll go to the craft store tomorrow since I don't have anything that will be a good strap for them :\.
Also, the pup always goes crazy when she knows it's "walk time". Look at her scratching like crazy!
Here was today's sunset.
The clouds looked really cool and interesting today <3. I loved it. :)

Valentine Crafting
I've made 2 purses inspired by valentines day.
They're for sale here: Samurai Kitty
I made a white one.
And a black one.
Here's a close up of me modeling. :P
Here's the other one. Sometimes I'm amazed at how big my boobs can look. O_O.. sigh. There are times that I wish they were just a tad smaller.. you know? There's more to me than floating spheres!

Handy Craftin'
I finally fixed my sad lamp..
The lampshade fell apart before (you can see it dilapidated in the corner of the pic of my bed, from the blog of 'my room'). Now it's all fixed up! I used printing paper and tape. Hehe, I call it being "resourceful".
I crumpled the paper in the 'hawaiian kapa' style. (Basically I crumpled the paper and smoothed it over my leg..aka, 'local grade school kapa' style) I didn't totally 'kapa-fy' the paper because I wanted the light to catch on the uneven crumples and cast interesting shadows. I twisted a fake flower on it to add some cuteness. ~<3

Doodling in the Park
Yes, I walked the dog..again.. but this time I brought along my sketchbook. :)
Obviously unfinished.. but I couldn't stay any later because it was getting too dark :(. (That's when all the weirdys come out!)
Here's the sunset of the 'closer' park I went to. The sky looked really pinky-orange. <3
This is what the walk back looks like :).

Crafter Extraordinaire!
I've been busily crafting more items for my little store. Sadly, I've only made 4 hairclips, but they're really nice hairclips :D.. heh.. I took pictures of me modeling the clips and put them up for sale now. I should be crafting some more but I didn't blog yesterday so I'm taking the time now :).
I also walked the dog again, but this time I walked up the street to a different park. On mapquest it was huuuge. I haven't explored all of the park. I'll save the extensive exploration for another day.
As you can see, It was a lot of grass..
A lot, A lot... looooots of grass.. too much grass.. but then it became clear why it was so much grass when 4 teams of little kids in soccer clothes came to the park. hm.
I took some pics of the dog this time too :P. What a cutie. <3
